Awards for Young Musicians
Awards for Young Musicians 2012 grant scheme is now open.
Awards for Young Musicians supports the UK's most talented young instrumentalists aged five to 17 years of age who, because of financial need, may be prevented from fulfilling their creative potential. The charity assists musically-gifted children in families, where income is limited, to help develop potential.
Grants of between £200 and £2,000 are available, based on evidence of musical talent and financial need.
Eligible applicants:
• must have settled status in the UK on 1 September 2011
• need to be 17 or under at 31 August 2012
• must have a demonstrable financial need and proven musical skills and abilities.
Previous applicants (successful or otherwise) are welcome to apply again.
